I’m Dalina Rodriguez, your relocation expert in Lyon for all type of profiles, entrepreneurs, expatriates, relocated employees, retired couples, etc.

I assisted setteling my first clients while I was an expat in India in 2008.

Originally from Mexico, married with 3 children, I had my first experience of international moving when I left my country to settle in Paris in 2001.

My taste for adventure and my curious spirit motivated me to move to Asia in 2005. We lived in India for 7 years and in Singapore for 6 years.

When we arrived in Chennai, we faced a long and stressful installation process and we ended up renting a house not adapted to our needs. Therefore, we decided to move out and I started the new home search by myself.

This experience helped me discover my interest in real estate. I love visiting houses, meeting owners and negotiating the best conditions. I also like to host newcomers, to advise and support them as they settle in. That’s how I set up my first relocation company, Encuentro Solutions Ltd, in Chennai.

During our expatriation in India and Singapore, I also had the opportunity to head up expatriate associations, parents’ committees and sports clubs. The contact with different cultures, ideologies, habits and environments enabled me to understand that everyone has the same state of mind during a settling process: it is a mixture of excitement and stress. And I learnt that the requirements and expectations are specific to culture, nationality, age group and working conditions.

When we returned to France in 2018 and settled in Lyon, I found the house search process particularly complex and impersonal. That’s why I decided to get back into the business in 2019. Since then, I’ve been helping people who arrive in Lyon to find their new home in a safe and stressless way.
